So I've had this blog forever...I've been holding on to the name like someone else is going to take it (ha! like the next Mrs. Szuprytowski is going to be so upset she didn't get to it first).
I live a pretty ordinary life, with a pretty great guy, and I feel pretty blessed.
I'm not crafty, I'm not a good cook, I'm not organized...but I try to be the best wife I know how to be, to the guy I so affectionately refer to as "Hubba". We live in our little one bedroom apartment just west of Sydney (Australia) in a suburb called Stanmore. You might say Stanmore falls right along the flight path of aircraft coming in and out of Sydney. (Ok, you might not say that, you would say that).

Which, apart from the occasional 6am wake up call, isn't as bad as it seems; afterall, Hubba thinks he's a pilot anyway...

Our life in Australia is not nearly as exotic as you might think. In fact, it's not all that dissimilar to life in the US; however there are a few differences that I feel very passionate about (and we will get to that, but on another day).
I'm writing this blog so that my friends and family back home can get an idea what my life is like halfway across the globe, so that I have an outlet to express my opinions on anything (and everything!), and so I can record my attempt at completing my 101 in 1001 list of goals (see sidebar).
And I have a new camera to document it all!
